I recently had a captivating conversation with an old colleague who posed a question that got me thinking: "How do you see the role of a PMO evolving?" This query inspired me to share some insights on a topic that is integral to the success of organisations: Project Management Offices (PMOs).

PMOs are not a recent invention; their evolution stretches back decades. In today's fast-paced business world, having a PMO is no longer a choice; it is a strategic imperative.
